I’m not sure what’s the ”stops” is. There are 2 slots on ea top that have a plastic push in grommet so it’s not metal on metal, most people don’t replace them. So the holes wear, get real sloppy, and some tear, the pins on ea side can be replaced,
There is a kit to repair the sloppy slots, I have one of the kits. if you have to replace the frame that’s tough getting it off without ruining the mirror film. I do have a t top with a loose side rail. That could be used to repair a top
I never heard of any company that restores the fisher tops.
I have a gray set for sale, gold and silver are becoming pretty expensive. There’s a fourth , a bronze Camaro top they say, Ive never seen it in person.

I’ve never found a company. Just the 2 hard plastic interior trim PCs are like 300-400$.
I’m going to re spray my frames, SEM trim black is rite on.

Ive never seen a used stop from a 78 or 79 that id use in my car without restoring. I know there is instructions on how to do it, not that they want 200K for trans ams you'd think someone would start doing them

Ahhh. It’s a typo. I thought you said stop. Perfect t tops are hard to find. Just rubbing on the rubber seal takes the mirror finish off. I do tops and sell them, I don’t like doing them, lol.
One guy swore by the Eastwood glass polish for the t top glass. It rule of thumb, it you can catch your nail on the scratch, you can’t buff it out. I made that rack and when they come off, they go in the padded rack. No more putting in the trunk.

maybe best to just leave them in a bag in the trunk and drive it ...!
