Is this a car they really made? Otherwise, how do you put a value on a "one of none"? It's either a really nice, made up car, or, the most rare Buick around.

I know of a '69 Buick GS done by Motion, but hadn't heard of a '72 Stage II.

GM did not build a stage II
stage II was a bolt on that could be had form the dealer
mainly was the heads I never heard of a 72 stage II but I guess
that someone could have install a stageII package but no factory
stage IIs were ever built StageII was a over the counter package only No production cars built as a stageII The heart of the stage II was the cam 455 in 480 ex with 455 in and 480 ex duration An aluminum intake with a 850 cfm Holley on top The big thing was the heads
With redesigned ports good for an extra 50hp

I own a '72 GS Stage 1 car.

Mine is the NHRA C/SA Record Holder and World Champ in 1972, raced then by Dave Benisek and Bill Trevor. It also ran Pure Stock. I have incredible documentation. It is the ONLY car in NHRA history to win every race, at every event, in any one calender year, in NHRA history...EVER. Cool car.

There were 728 Stage 1 GS cars built in 1972, auto and stick combined.

There was NEVER a Stage 2 car factory built in any year. Those parts were over the counter only.

If I can be of any assistance, just fire away directly or herein.

Jim
