57 Paxton Supercharger Chevy Gasser Barn Find!

1957 Paxton Supercharged Chevrolet Gasser For Sale. A serious Barn Find!
Built and raced by Nicky Chicago mechanic in the the early 1960s and into the 1970s all over the country, as well as home based US 30 Dragway. Later sold to a fellow Chicago racer who raced it thru the mid 1970s. It was then parked at the owners garage until this year, for 35 years.
Originally painted Orange with "Shake, Rattle and Roll" graphics. The Gasser has a Pontiac 389, twin four choke carbs and is forced inducted by way of a massive Paxton Supercharger. The prior owner quoted 9 sec. 1/4. Three speed automatic and an Olds rear end.
Other than new orange paint, the new wheels and radiator the car is as it was in the 1960! The spartan interior, basic gauges, van seating and an inspection panel that opens up to the rear of the engine from the cockpit are just a part of the lure of this very period '60s Gasser. $22,500.OBO
