Default 69 JL8 Plain Jane Camaro

Well I finally squeezed my wallet open long enough to make a donation and join SYC. I am the proud owner of one of the finest 1969 RS/Z28's there is and a 70 Chevelle SS 396 convertible along with a few others. However I thought I would show you my latest project. It is a Jerry MacNeish certified "Plain Jane" 1969 Camaro with factory air and the JL8 4 wheel disc brake option. I found this car sitting in a backyard in Ramona, California where it had been sitting since the early 80's. Although most jl8 cars were Z/28's or Super Sports, the option was available as a regular option on regular Camaros. This car has a/c which rules out the Z28 option and it had the bowtie in the center of the steering wheel which ruled out the SS option. Jerry's report states it is the only known example at this time with the low horsepower / JL8 option. If you are aware of another one or have any knowledge of this car, please let me know. Thanks to Jerry for making the trip to California and almost getting snake-bit in the process!
