Default 2010 Road Runner

Got a spare million in your pocket??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180427570398

Up for auction is the Road Runner Concept Car.

It’s the rebirth and new interpretation of one of the most legendary muslce cars – the Plymouth Road Runner.

This stunning design concept was created by Michael Leonhard and gained attention through several magazines like Hot Rod, Mopar Enthusiast ... and numerous auto blogs. The concept takes most of it’s cues from the Road Runners of ´71 and ´72. In combination with modernized and futuristic shapes.

Another example of someone playing off a popular, well recognized name of a marque that is no longer manufactured.

We will be seeing this with GTOs for sure again even though Pontiac is now gone.

Besides the mentioned styling cues of the 71/72 'Runners the designer has obviously taken a lot of the look from the 'acid inspired' Rapid Transit style specifically the '71 RTS Road-Runner!.

If I'm that hot for a 71 Runner, I'll just go buy a 71 Runner.
