well, for a cool Mill, you would think he would have picked a better place to post an ad and better pics!

He's been posting around a few sites looking for info since last summer, here's a couple links...

http://www.welovepontiacs.com/board/...3a12f32ff90045

http://www.corvette-web-centralforum...nt-Info-search

------------------------------------------

You'd expect Joe Bortz would know of the car also wonder why he doesn't already own it if truly a GM built/commisioned piece?.

http://bortzautocollection.com/

------------------------------------------

Kit car bodies were getting pretty well refined by the mid 50's so the possibility certainly exists it's something by one of the manufacturers/builders on the 'Vette chassis?.
Contacting Geoff Hacker's or cruising his site may yield some info?.

Here's a try at the pics..
Again it appears more like it belongs w/ other similar era cars on Geoff Hacker's site than a factory job?.
Pack a lunch and click on the ForgottenFiberglass link below also Geoff's BellyTanker site is a great ride too!.
