Does any one know why holley carbs do not carry the 2 digit code after the part numbers on ALL early production carbs from at least 1965 to 1970 [July, Aug, and sometimes into September of the previous year production is the rule, [IE 982 dated 4492 ls6 do not carry the 2 code like later and all service dates ?? It happens accross the entire holley line from what ive seen in 25 years]

Are you talking about the DZ code on 4053, GE on 4346, etc? Production carbs have these codes. Jason |
