Looks pretty legit. All the dates appear to be good. I cannot find my list of 437 distributor dates but if memory serves me correctly 9L11 was one of them. It looks like lots of documentation to back it up I just wish he would quit calling it a survivor as it has been repainted. This is one car I have not run across even though it is "well known in the Chevelle community". Will be interesting to see how far it goes.

Here we go again.
How can this be a survior. It has been repainted, and has a 1973 engine in it... I suppose his birth mother is a Virgin too. I believe this was the car at B/J. |

I guess the guys definition of survivor is that it has survrved to this date without being destroyed or butchered up.

After looking at the e-bay add to see where the car was heading, I noticed the white numbers on the air cleaner horn. Not realizing it the first time I posted here, this car was at Chevellabration in Nashville a few weeks ago. I briefly looked over the car and it appeared to be very solid and legit. It was not until I saw the photo of the VIN pad that I realized the engine had ever even been apart. The owner was a very nice gentleman and I am surprised he did not mention the potential sale at that time.

There was a dark green LS6 at B/J but I don't believe it was this one. As I recall, the one at B/J had spent a lot of time in Alaska, and I don't remember it having a white vinyl roof.
