Default "Leatherman" ZL-1 Camaro

Maybe I missed something, but I didn't know that the "Leatherman" ZL-1 Camaro had been found? Did i miss a post on this topic? I just spoke to a friend of mine last night about this car and its restoration process. He was wondering weather or not to do it the orig. silver or back to the "Leatherman" paint scheme?

I'd go with the original paint scheme, that is where it got all it's glory. It will always be a ZL1, but take away its character . . . Not me. That would be like someone restoring a '67 or '68 Yenko to 396/375HP stock form . . . For what . . . That is not what made that car famous. It will always be a ZL1, but it earned those badges / war paint, don't take that away from that car. Just my input. . . Yes, the car has been located and the car is currently undergoing restoration. The current owner is a very private individual.

Got to go back to the Leatherman theme! There was only one like that. IMO Sam
