Does anyone remember the name of the manufacturer of the 69 Camaro Convertible reproduction body the Parts Place Inc, has been showing in their eBay auctions?
Appearantly the October 2004 issue of Hot Rod mentions these and they are making quite a stir on other message boards. The last I remember is they were only planning building 1969 convertibles, however some people are now saying that eventually both the 69 and 67-8 styles will be covered as coupes or convertibles. Someone also mentioned that they will have a special VIN so they cannot be used to fake an original Camaro. I'm primarily looking for more information to aid in discussion of the pros and cons of such a product being on the market. Thanks.

The maker of the parts is Dynacorn Int. or DII. Thier main office is in CA I think. One of thier warehouses is in Leedsdale, PA just outside of Pittsburgh.
