Default 1970 Yenko Deuce

I'm new to this forum but have watched it recently since I found a unmolested one owner yenko deuce. The car is listed on this web site as one of the original 175 cars. It is one of the automatics. I need some help on the value of vehicle. It is a survivor type car and is not perfect but is close to right. The only rust is very minor (quarter size spots) in both front fenders. The original owner still has the car with all documentation where he bought it in 1970. He is asking $38,000 for the car. Is this a fair price? I really like it but don't want to be upside down in it. Please give me some feedback on this find. Thanks for the help.

As long as the seller doesn't want you to send the money to Nigeria or something like that.

Before I got to the price ($38K), I was thinking about $40K would be right. Buy it.

Sounds cheap. Especially since it is a one owner car. Buy it.

Huh?

That POS $hit box yellow car sold out of Yenko Chevrolet supposedly got upwards of 30k outside the e-bay auction that it was in this past month! 38K is a steal for an original owner, paperwork, hopefully runs and drives car! As a matter of fact PM me the guys info so I CAN buy it!

Is this car in East Tennessee? If it is I would be very careful to verify it was real. There was a real good clone that sold for $6500 in Aug of 2001. $31000 would be a nice profit if it is the same car.

I think $38,000 is way cheep for that car, probably worth twice that. Buy it while you can!

Bill,

I would find out the body number just to confirm the car. Several members of this site have all the Deuce body numbers. When you get the number post a message (not the number) and I am sure someone will PM you. Good luck.
