Default what would look nicer "old school build-up"

on my 72 camaro ss i'm going for that old school /day2 look.i've got a healthy sbc already with GM off-road I mechanical cam and just don't know what intake to run. i've got all the good old intakes like the edelbrock TM-1,edelbrock scorpion an the edelbrock TR1-X tunnel ram.i'm trying to get the 70's performance look and have all the other parts like a fly eye air cleaner, cal custom valve covers and the stock fuel line for a 70LT1 with a holley 4bbl.

I would run the one that gives the best performance for your engine combo.

right now my motor is set up for mid to upper rpm the camshafts rpm range is 4200-7000rpm and i'm running 11.5:1 compression. i believe all 3 of these intakes can work with my current combo.i'm just wondering what would look the most aggressive when the hood is off @ car shows

The Edelbrock TR1-X tunnel ram would be the most aggressive when the hood is off @ car shows....

While not entirely safe, these fiberglass fans are an era appropriate add on. I think Pantera's Motion Vette has a hole in the hood from one of these coming unglued. Cool vintage speed part nonetheless.

cool i think that's what i'm going to put on.the only thing now is i've got an L88 hood and no other hood.i was thinking of grafting a grump lump to the L88 hood i've seen this done on a few super stock and pro stock camaros of the early 70's especially the joe satmary "we haul " pro stock 71 camaro.the only other day2 mod to do is get rid of the skinny centerlines and put my us-indy 15x4 slot mags on.also get rid of the 15x8 rally wheels and find a set of 15x10 ansen sprints and put N50-15 tire on them

Now that sounds like a good plan. We want to see pictures when it's done!
