Default QuickBowtie's Unreal Hemi !!

Hello my name is Andrew Distad and this is my 1970 Plymouth HEMI Cuda.. I am a Chevy guy at heart (SO TAKE IT EASY ON ME) but love all the old High Horse Power cars along with the old gasser (hot rod) types of cars.

My father was also into cars so I pretty much grew up with cars in my blood, I believe I could spot a car a 1/4 mile away and know what it was before I could read or right. I restored my first car with the help of my dad at age 14. (1970 Nova SS 4 speed) anyways I tore the heck out of the car had fun in High School with it and then made money on it when I went to sell it..and ever since then Ive been buy, selling, restoring and trading cars.. Its pretty much what I live for besides my family.

At the age of 29 I can say Ive been very forunate for having the opportunity of owning some very very cool unique cars.. I would say the prize in my collection right now is my 1970 HEMI CUDA with 61 Actual Miles.

THIS CAR STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL FACTORY BORN WITH NUMBERS MATCHING ENGINE, TRANS AND REAR AND STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL SHEET METAL AND COMPLETELY RUST FREE The car was bought new in West Virgina it is the real deal, I have 2 broadcast sheets, both original fender tags, owner history etc.. The car was ordered to RACE It is a bare bones no B.S. car Factory Radio delete, Stripe Delete (sleeper look), no power anything, auto (buckets console) steel wheel car. The original owner had big ideas of racing the car and as soon as he picked the car up he put a set of Keystone wheels and some headers (he did save the original exhaust manifolds which are back on the car now) he also put some racing decals on th car and named it TRUE GRIT and then it was off to the tracks of West Virgina, from what I was told he only ran the car a hand full of times and then passed away leaving the car sitting (WHICH IS WHY IT IS STILL NUMBERS MATCHING AND HAS SUCH THE LOW MILES) with only 20 some odd miles on it.

The car was then bought by a collector who knew about the car for many many years he finally was able to aquire the car and add it to his collection of 40+ Mopars. In 1997 a friend of mine talked the owner out of selling the car when he bought the car it had 27 miles on it. He kept if for a while and sold it to another guy I know and it has since had a couple other owner all of who I know of (One of the previous owner oviously couldnt help himself from putting a few miles on it can say I blame him I've almost had a couple weak moments myself). The paper trail is excellent on the car and the mileage has been documented the car has only car up for sale publically once back in I believe 2000. To date it is the lowest mileage documented HEMI Cuda on the planet.

The car is incredibly original with only a couple areas of paint being layed on the car (where they had the car name paint on a few decals) the rest of the car is as you would seen back in 1970. It runs like a brand new car Ive only driven it down my driveway to take pictures because I can't stand putting anymore miles on it but it would be a blast to drive it just once and feel what it was like to drive a New Hemi Cuda in 1970. If anyone remembers this car please email me as I love to get my hands on a picture of the car when it was raced if thats some how possible.

Thanks for letting me share my ride with you.

Andrew

Only downside might be needing another one to drive (though suppose there're folks dealing with tougher stuff!). Great car.
