Depends on Hp rating, 2 bolt or 4 bolt block, High Performance Solid Lifter, Cast Iron or Aluminum Heads, etc. Please post more info and Pics. Thanks,

The motor has 4 bolt mains, forge steel crank. The heads have a 840 casting #.Rods are 3/8 with a dimple on them. |

Can you post the info on the block stamp pad and include a pic if possible. The stamp pad is located on the block under the alternator on 69 models.

My guess on value would be $5000 or more if everything is in good condition. Has the block been bored? What intake? Are you sure it's a crate motor? It could possible be a COPO motor. If so, the value would be a lot more. You have probable already gotten quite a few PMs asking for info.

That is a perfect replacement engine for guys with 1968 and early 1969 427 cars that don't have the correct engines. I'm sure there are members here that would like to have it if you decide to sell. Your best bet might be Ebay. Whatever you do, don't let a machine shop deck the block and remove the numbers.
