Bad ass car...there have been some horror stories with Hennesey that I think they may have finally cleared up....but they still sound like dump trucks...albeit...very fast dump trucks. Just can't get used to that 10cyl sound.

I remember reading years ago in Auto Week Magazine that the Hennesey clan was losing client base because of horrible inefficiency in the garage. Contracts were broken with delayed deadlines and sluggish car return. Those cars look and I'm sure perform like no-other, but a bad reputation and poor-goodwill is not something that happens by itself.

Houston, Texas - Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) is pleased to introduce its Venom 1000 Twin Turbo upgrade system for the 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10.

The 1000 HP Venom Twin Turbo was recently tested against a Lola Champ Car race car in a standing mile acceleration contest. The Venom ran 210.2 mph in the mile - 7 mph faster than the Champ Car.
