My Feature Car Update

Hard for me to believe, but it's been 2 years since my car was featured here.

As I stated back then, the story behind my car was that it found me, since my step-son won it in a contest, back in '94.
Now, thanks to the wonders of ebay, I found a copy of the original magazine with the contest entry form.





Even after 13 years, I still marvel at the fact that I have this piece of history to play with.

I saw your car earlier this year in Dublin Oh @ the Friday cruise for the Arthritis show.
My buddies said you had stopped by my car, sorry I missed you, maybe next year.

Great story - what a beautiful car. The only question left unanswered is -
How did you get it away from your son?

My step-son has as much interest in cars as I have in comics. He drives a 10 year old Escort with a bad rattle. I have never gotten a straight answer as to why he entered the contest in the first place. He was 24 when he won the car, there was no way to get it insured in his name, so he signed the title over to me. I have always said that when he won the contest, I won the Camaro Lotto.
I have run it down the track at the past 2 SCR's, and in the hands of the right driver it could run high 12s/low13s.
(I don't have what you could call lightning reflexes).
