Default 1969 Chevelle L-78 engine - complete

Posting for a friend:

1969 Chevelle L-78 complete as shown. It is std. bore with stock pistons and a 30/30 steel crank, solid lifter cam 7/16 pushrods, rebuilt but never run.$8000.00 or offer. You can call Fred if you like 602-843-0630 thanks. BTW, both heads are the same exact date ( A 2 9).

Cool engine...noticed the bracket on the pass side front carb stud...I think that is a 70 LS6/L78 fuel line piece...

The distributor looks like a restamp though IMO.

How did u decipher that the dist looks like a repop?

Wilma,

That bracket you are talking about is for the pcv hose.

I have an original and the fonts are different.

I think it is a fuel line bracket...notice the hole in the bracket for the clampig self threading screw...can't find a PCV bracket photo at the moment...but I will look. I think the PCV bracket had a little bigger opening and no hole....others can chime in.

Yep, fuel line support. Same as mine except mine NEVER had the screw installed.

Check to see if the P/N is stamped in it.
