Default 1969 VN Z28 project...questions

Here's the story...

Back in 1982-3 I found a VN Z28 that I wanted to keep and ended up selling it to a friend.

He still has the car as I sold it to him, a roller, and he has since purchased some NOS fenders, and stuff to be ready when he wanted to actually redo the car.

I just returned from his shop and it seems he is wanting to sell the car, either as it is with all the stuff, or semi redone, but seems to have lost interest in it as a whole.

The car is an 02C 69 build, 711 69 69 trim code, the VN tag #s are N407. Has the original GM stamped DZ block.

It's been so long from when I sold it to him I forgot what options it came with.

After crawling over it for about a 1/2 hour or so, here are the other options it came with:
Tach & Gauges
Console car
Fold down rear seat
Non Cowl Hood
No Spoiler options
AM Radio
Woodgrain dash

The 12 bolt I think is not the original one but I am sure it was a 3:73.1 gear set. He does have a few 12-Bolt housings, not sure which codes they as we never got to them.

The 4-Leafs are gone and currently have 5-Leafs in it's place.

All in all he has a Real VN Z28, and has sorta lost interest in it.
Rather unfortunate for being a VN survivor.

I am trying to evaluate what he can get for this and would like some feedback as to how to assist him in his decision making...

Thanx!

I had a February-built Van Nuys '69 Z in the mid-70s and it had 5-leaf rear springs. I knew all the owners and nobody had changed the springs. I know '69 Zs are supposed to have 4-leafs but sometimes exceptions happen. I say this just to let you know the 5-leafs may be originals for that particular car.

I believe it all depended how many options the car had. Striped Z/28's had the 4 leaf and loaded cars had the 5 leaf.

Jon - Did your car have options?

The car has only the options I posted above. I am assuming the springs were changed at one time; I just need to do a hard physical to determine if they are original GM 5-leaf springs or replacement ones.

Personally, I have never seen a 5-Leaf set installed from the factory on a 69 Z. Every one I've had in the past, they all had 4-Leafs. The factory did do stuff back then so I guess that's possible
