This is Jason Booth. You used to come by my parents dealership, Booth Motors, in Oxnard. I doubt I will come across the plate frame you are looking for up here in Santa Cruz but will keep my eyes peeled. Maybe call a few long time junk yards in the area the dealership was in?

I just wanted to say hi. I was just thinking about you the other day while working on a cougar convertible with a white top. I was remembering being a dumb kid and accidentally putting my greasy hand on the top if your 67 RS convertible. What a dick move! Sorry about that,

Hey Tony...You Should try putting an ad in Craigslist in the Phoenix area. I had a nice pair but sold several months ago to a member in the Chicago area. I have one left but its sold pending payment. If the guy bails I will give you a shot. I lived in the Phoenix area for 12 years in the 80s and early 90s and they were still out there in area junkyards but I doubt it now. FYI Brown ahd Hoeye Mesa had frames of 2 variations in the late 60s and early 70s 1) had just Brown and Hoeye Mesa 2) Brown and Hoeye Mesa with 2 small circles with CHEV_OLDS in 1 circle and BIG2 in the other. Brown and Hoeye also had and Vinyl trunk decal that the outline was shaped like a bowtie with a rounded top and bottom and said Brown and Hoeye Mesa Honestly and they were baked and cracked by the Arizona sun. I actually have a rubbing of one somewhere in my stash that I was going to have a copy made but I would have to find it. I used to own a 69 SS Nova that was sold new there but got rid of the car and that was why I used to collect stuff from them. Heres what they look like. Hope this helps

Thanks for responding!! I actually do have an add or 2 more or less on Craigslist...... your post popped up on Google with the other member from Chicago area I'm guessing.

I believe you are conversing with a friend of mine that is also looking for Brown & Hoeye goodies.... I understand there is also some Vanity Plates too!!

Can you send out some pics of what you have.... If my friend doesn't move on the stuff and my add doesn't produce anything....I'm in! ;-)

Yes these are the ones I already sold and still had a pic of them. The one I still have is just barely peaking up from the bottom and is the only one I have left. Iam taking a pic of it for another member this weekend and will add it to this post when I send him a copy. Its funny but he is from Ventura CA. also. Like I said if he does not want it after I send him a pic I will give you second crack at it. Later

Here is the pic of the one I have left. It is either a New Car takeoff or a NOS. and has the harder to find BIG2 CHEV-OLDS circles before Brown and Hoeye split up to become Lon and Chris Hoeyes BIG2 Olds Toyota and Brown and Brown Chevrolet. I have had this frame for 25 plus years in storage. I have a sale pending at the moment but if he does not want it it will be up for grabs at $95 with shipping and Ins, included. PM me if interested.
