Anybody using traction bars now have the emergency brake cable installed as well or no? My Z came with bars when I first bought it. I removed them and installed OEM shock plates but never had the support brackets to reinstall. I'm in the process of locating these brackets and want to install the bars back once I locate a set and wondered if this would be an issue with the bars.
For my 69 Z in the pic below.

Hi Sam, I was asking about the support brackets not the cables. Do you still have the support brackets to hold your cables in place with your traction bars installed or did you remove them? I'll be installing those traction bars I bought over the winter and wanted to know if anybody kept them on or removed them when they removed the OEM shock plates to install the bars. I never realized until now my support brackets are missing so I'm looking for a set to put back on.

Gary, I put a set of Ansen Ground Grabbers on my '69 Z28 in probably 1973 so it has been a while. I do not recall ever removing any E brake cable brackets. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

It must have been a common thing to remove them when traction bars were installed and then when the bars were removed to put the OEM shock plates back on those support brackets never made it back on. I've looked at a lot of pics of Camaro's on-line the past few weeks and have yet to see any with them on. Those brackets seem so easy to remove and get lost.

OK...so it must of been the common thing to do then. I was just curious since I have seen many with them missing.
