What a rare car with no AC and a 4 speed. Red/red to boot.

This car is about 45 minutes from my house if some pne needs me to take a look at it.

At first I assumed it was a Super Duty 455. I see now it is a 400.

Would have been a great deal for a SD. I have heard different numbers, but weren't there only 212 or so SD with four speed in 1974?

2 questions. Is black seats and red dash correct or even possible? Are the fender to radiator support braces correct? I would expect tubular braces, but those look like home made from bar stock. I'm just trying to learn, not knocking the car.

The support braces are correct. I had a 1974 Trans Am many years ago and that was how it was equipped.

I didn't read the add, I just saw SD 455 on the shaker.

Correct. And any 4-speed in a '74 T/A is rare, less than 2000 of the 10,000 cars built were manuals.

Yes, all that you mentioned is correct, factory-equipped. Car has been for sale a long time as it is over-priced.
