I'll say it again Rich, awesome looking Bee! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif I've often wondered what salesmen did when you asked to lift the hood on one of those 'glass hood cars back when they were new on the lot. I can imagine him saying "hey, gimme a hand with this" and then trying to hang onto it by the hoodscoop while the wind begins to blow. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif You don't see too many lift off hood cars w/o a vinyl roof, I suppose that's because the vinyl covered top made a good resting spot for the hood. I like it plain though, a strictly business look for sure.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon here but that car is f'n beautiful! Great combination/color. BUT...close the trunk, for a second I thought you had some uber-rare rear spoiler. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That 'Bee looks just like the *swarm* that attends the Pure Stock Drags every year. There are 3 of them, all alike, except 1 has a white stripe while the other 2 have black. They run 12.30s to 12.50s, and I had the pleasure of being smack-dab in the middle of them last fall...

Thanks guys !! It took alot of years to finish. I new when I bought it, it is a special car with its options and NO roof was the part I liked. All my others had tops. I almost gave up on the restoration from hell but I hung in there. With ALL the responses I have been getting,im glad I finished it.First threw third gear the car is all over the road.I forgot how good that feels when the car is in pieces for years. Cant wipe the smile off my face when I go for a ride. Buy from your heart I always say !!! Good thing is I know every inch of this car, from the time I caught the painter who painted the car Alfa Romeo red to save money and had him strip the WHOLE car back down to bare. This was the Resto from hell. Thanks guys it was worth all of it from your e-mails http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Picture of the 8X Turbo assembly for the LS1 in my '57 Chevy convertible. It'll all fit under the hood and we've designed an interesting cool air-flow system to minimize engine room heat. I'm eager to hear what the engine will sound like with 8 turbos in operation.

Will you be coming through Tulsa? I'm going to join in for a little bit on the Tulsa trek... I'll see If I can't get my buddy Pantara to ride along. Very nice John, on both accounts! I was able to view the L78 at VetteFest as well and it was quite a ride. I have been following along on your LS6 restoration for quite awhile and can see by the finished photos it was worth the wait. Very nice. Congrats! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

That is way too cool! I had a 1970 Huffy Cheater Slick bike that was basically "Hugger Orange" in color with black stripes. Now I really regret destroying it when I was a kid after seeing how nice yours looks all restored.
