1962 409 4 speed Impala

Im sorry if im in the wrong section or website but I need some info,,,,fast! I got a call from a friend that located me what is supposed to be a 62 409 4 speed car! Drag raced most of it's early life and parked with 12,xxx original miles!The original 409 blew early on and is now a 348 car,or so goes the story according to the seller!Im going to look and need to know if there is any way to tell for certain it is a original 409 car?
