Default 1962 409 4 speed Impala

Im sorry if im in the wrong section or website but I need some info,,,,fast! I got a call from a friend that located me what is supposed to be a 62 409 4 speed car! Drag raced most of it's early life and parked with 12,xxx original miles!The original 409 blew early on and is now a 348 car,or so goes the story according to the seller!Im going to look and need to know if there is any way to tell for certain it is a original 409 car? Im sure several on this site know I just need some info to take with me. Thanks Guys

Thanks Sam. Same here.
Hope you didn't waste too much time looking at that old worn out '09 convertible next to Ronnie's car.
Ronnie is in a class of his own. One of my true heros. By the way....last time out at Atco: 10.31 130.51 with plenty of daylight under the front wheels!
And that's short shifting at 7000.
Not bad for an old garbage truck engine ....huh?
