If it looks that bad from the top think about what the bottom looks like!

In that condition, the fact that it has six miles on it is totally meaningless http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif Those are so plentiful and reasonably priced that even if you got that car for free, you'd be upside down by the time you restored it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I am guessing they pulled it from the bottom of the ocean?
The local Chevy dealership here just sold a 78 vette with 3 original miles and it was like a time capsule. Went for 15 grand too..I missed it by two hours..

I would love to know how that happened to that car. Surely it wasn't kept outside. It almost appears that a plastic, moisture-trapping tarp was kept over it. I've heard of this happening before but this could be a worst case scenario.

All I know is that the car is in Beaumont Texas! There is salt water around Beaumont!

It looks like some Texas rodents were chewing on that console!

all I can say is damn shame. I wonder what the frame looks like given the underhood problems.

I lived and worked in that area for 10+ years. The closer to the gulf, the worse the cars got, looks like a typical gulf coast car to me.
