Ah, those wheels are for cruising. The others will be racing. Much much much lighter! He he. Thanks Paul.

Okay, I found out the wheels I picked up are US MAG, they were the only maker of the 16X8.5 wheel in the day.
Now I'm hoping someone has a brochure or catalog that shows the US mag line up, can't find anything searching googl.
Thanks
Bruce

Nice work Bruce. 16" has got to be rare. Any idea when they were made? Good looking wheels. You thinking about the El C for these?

I'm not sure on the time frame but thinking late 60's early 70's. I'll probably sell off the 16's and get another pair of the 15X7's if I can find some.
AKH and torque thrust central both in Washington state shows they have them on there web sites for the 15X7 US mag torq thrust copy.
Not sure what I'm going to put on the El Camino, picked up a set of 15X7 200S (daisey)wheels in September, also found these in the Anchorage craigslist.
I have a new set of Goodyear F-60 X15 I want to mount on one of these sets of wheels.

I would like to add something about the wheels that I have. If you ever plan on running 14's with one of the Repro Disc Brake kits, be causious about which caliper brackets you have. Some will only work with 15's. Luckily I had two pair. Guess which ones don't clear??? The pair that is already on the car! UGH! Par for the course! I was going to use those S/X's one way or another.

15x3.5 Shelby Cal 500

Anyone have any info on the front runners?

Here is my contribution to the thread. My set of real M/T mags in 14x6. Original, unrestored. Nicest set I have ever seen!

These were in the truck of a 63 409 Impala that my old man had shipped back from Washington state in the eightys.

They say "Hollywood Wheels" on the inside. I believe the rim was chrome, and the inside painted as it has a rough texture.

Saved them mostly to use as a garden hose reel but never got around to it...

I've got a set of 4 of them I got off a 63 Vette rdstr I bought in the early 70's. Thinking I should redo them & put them on my 68 Z28.

I have a friend who made a few center caps out of billet aluminum for those wheels.

I think you have Cragar G/Ts there.

These may not be vintage but they are old school looking. Vintage wheel Works V40's. I was looking into getting the American Racing 200S's too but chose the V40's instead. Took a long time to figure out which ones I like better. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2013/05/full-13756-4884-camaro20driverside.jpg
