This is the second ZL-1 powered Camaro I’ve built this year. Like the first, I built this car to drive, with the options that I would have ordered and as close to an original ZL-1 as would matter from a visual, driving or performance stand point.

#1 Frame off restoration on what was originally a very rust free Norwood X11 Camaro. All original body panels and floors. Body was media blasted and painted in show quality PPG base coat / clear coat. Undercarriage is like new. Virtually everything on this car is new or restored to like new condition.

This is a GM 3946053 ZL-1 block. With the exception of being built to 10.5:1 comp. ratio the engine was built to ZL-1 specs using the correct .620 lift mechanical cam.

Engine and transmission are fully warranted for the next 6 months

I have tons of pictures, so just ask.

Options:

COPO 9560
ZL-1: All Aluminum GM 427cid 535 hp

M22: HD Muncie 4 Speed “Rock Crusher”
G84: 4:10 Positraction Rear Axle
J52: Power Front Disc Brakes
K66: NOS Mag Pulse Ignition System
N33: Tilt Steering Column
C48: Heater Delete
.....: Radio Delete

COPO 9737 Sports Car Conversion
15” Rally Wheels
13/16” Front Stabilizer Bar
140 MPH Speedometer

Interior: 711 Standard Black Vinyl
Exterior: 72 Hugger Orange

Block 3946053
Intake 3933198
GM Aluminum Heads 3946074
Holley Carburetor 4296
7115 GM Steel Crank
TRW Pistons
Mag Pulse Ignition System: Dist 263 Amp. 343 (Not Installed)
Delco Starter 1108351
Correct ZL1 .620 lift mechanical cam
Correct Bent Neck Radiator
Correct 403 Bell housing and ZL1 clutch configuration
1969 Date Coded M22 Muncie 4 speed
Original 1969 Hurst Shifter

I can't stop looking at this car. I want it! I hope it sells soon, or I might have to dump some of my junk and step up.

Rick you have one nice car but I did see you are missing the dash emblem and the heater delete plate lines should be running up and down... Other then that, she is a sweet ride, can I have it???? Great job with the resto, the undercarrage is clean enough to eat off... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

So now I guess your looking for a 69 roller to build a Black one or are you sticking with HO. I'll still think you should do Rallye Green or Dusk Blue.

Are you willing to floor pan some cars for a guy looking to start a North Texas dealership for ZL1 powered Camaro's? Of course he would need a demonstrator!

Howard - Absolutely. In fact you're in luck. We're having a special through the end of July with every 10 units ordered and paid for you will receive 1 FREE demo in the color of your choice. Some restrictions apply.

Bruce - You're hired. You'll be in charge of advertising, photo shoots and road testing. Gotta make sure they run right.

Rick,

There's gotta be a place for Howard. Plus, doesn't he have "to order by midnight tonight"? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
