An absolutely awesome show. Tom, Rob, Mo and all of the crew did a great job all weekend. I had high expectations of the happenings the last two days and everything exceeded my hopes by a longshot.

It was great to put faces with online names and to meet many of you. Also neat to get a chance to talk to many of you for more than 30 seconds, since I wasn't running around putting out fires or "working" the show! Dinner last night was a gas and I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time!

Also great to be able to talk to many of you who interested in Chevy Vettefest and great to hear what some of you will be bringing to the show.

I had absolutely the time of my life. It was the first time I was able to bring a car down. And my very first time down the track. I was pretty happy with how the car ran. Thanks to sixties for putting together one hell of a car. What a rush. I got to meet a lot of new people this year to and all I can say is what a cool bunch this is. Just got back home from another great Supercar Reunion...What a fun weekend! Was nice to see old friends as always, but it was also great to see lots of new cars and new people too! I know i say it every year, but this show just keeps getting better and better. From Thursday's parking lot party to Friday's racing and wrenching, to the banquet and late night viewing of the supercars, followed by more parking lot party and of course the big show on Saturday, It couldn't have been a better weekend. I had a blast with my debut gig as "auctioneer", and want to personally thank all of you who bid, won, or at least didn't throw food at me.http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif It was my first try at something like that, and was totally taken by surprise when I was asked to give it a try. I know it wasn't without a couple mistakes on my part, but it was still a ton of fun. I was honored to be asked to help raise some money for such a great cause. To all the folks i met for the first time this weekend, cheers to you. I can't wait for next year and the 10th anniversary SCR, I've been to every one since #1, and each one seems to top the last. We were discussing rich, Corinthian leather...you guys are wacked !!! Special thanks to Mr. Bob Ashton for shooting over to the Gateway Center and squaring off the floor and taping out all the car spots so the floorplan looked nice. He worked alongside Johnny Cat and myself for a couple hours to get it right....the show was layed out perfectly. Thanks Bob... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif I spent a ton of time hanging out by that Z-11 !!!! One thing we are going to do next year is ban cameras from Postsedan and Mr. Sensitive Darren. These guys have ill intentions with their pictures. Looked like Helen Gibb and crew had a good time as usual sitting next to their beautiful Nova too. All in all it was a blast again. The drag racing is getting bigger and better every year and as usual the SCW was there to lend a hand if anyone needed a wrench and a pair of hands or 3. Dinner was great...Camarojoe is an odd looking fellow but no one else wanted to volunteer to be the charity auctioneer. Haven't read all the posts yet but we raised a good chunk of change for a very worthwhile cause. Sixyiesmuscle stayed awake during the whole dinner....and we were sitting with some crazy woman that was later taken away in a straight jacket...not sure of her identity though !!!!!! This is Greg Cullum`s 300 Deluxe Postsedan Baldwin Motion Clone...look for it to be displayed at the next Chevy Vette Fest in Rosemont, IL.

This car was duplicated using all the correct hard to find Baldwin Motion Phase III components....including Holley 950 / 3 barrel, Edlebrock 427 intake, phase III box, Steel 2 piece bell housing. Next year we will race it down the track at SCR10.

I was mostly running low 14's while I was trying to get used to the car (I was catching z's at the line). Later on John and I went to the line together and I managed to get a 13.84 @105.79 on the Indy Profiles. Breaking into the 13's and not breaking the car was my goal for the day was my goal so I was happy.

Just wanted to say thanks again to the Alton gang for all the hard work they put in 365 to make the SCRs the greatest show on earth.

This was my 9th reunion, and certainly one of the best. It's always nice seeing everyone having such a great time at the track and simply enjoying the Supercars we all love. Even after attending every single SCR since the start back in '98...every year seems like a new event, as it truly is the people, personalities, and shared stories that really do it for me. I always learn something new, meet someone new, and see at least a few cars that I've never seen before. The experience and excitement everyone shares always makes the trip worth it.

Already looking forward to next year's 10th anniversary show, and if you missed the reunion this year, shame on you, but all the more reason to start making plans now to get there next year.
