New guy saying hi
Hi guys,
I've been away from the muscle car scene fer about 5 years and have greatly missed it. I stumbled upon this website and have been checking it out all afternoon. It brought back alot of memories. In a past life I was the shop manager at Camaro Parts Network(sadly, it's now closed) in Berea Ohio. I used to be well versed in most areas of restoration for Camaros and Chevelles. I am looking forward to getting dirty again. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |

Re: New guy saying hi
Thank you guys for the Warm welcome. Looking through the technical and restoration section reminded me that I have forgotten so much. Like many things, it is a perishable skill.
My Chevelle isn't much to look at. It was a barn rescue I got from the owner of a body shop(in my line of work I consider that a clue) and I pretty much kept it in race carish condition. It's not real pretty, but I built the small block and it weighs 3080lbs according to the scales at NASA when I worked there w/o me in it. Actually it's ugly and I'm a little embarrased of it. Here it is doing what it does. I have not even started it since the summer of 2007. Pics on their way. |

Here are some pics from Dragway 42 and Norwalk:

It was cheap, it's light, and looks sorta OK. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...a71launch3.jpg It launches well, for a foot braked car. http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...Jasondrag2.jpg |
