Default New guy saying hi

Hi guys,
I've been away from the muscle car scene fer about 5 years and have greatly missed it. I stumbled upon this website and have been checking it out all afternoon. It brought back alot of memories. In a past life I was the shop manager at Camaro Parts Network(sadly, it's now closed) in Berea Ohio. I used to be well versed in most areas of restoration for Camaros and Chevelles. I am looking forward to getting dirty again.

Welcome Jason
I used to go up to the Camaro Parts Network once in awhile myself.
Lots of NE Ohio guys on here, we will have to hook up at Solon some Tuesday night, that is if winter ever goes away
Do you happen to know "Mr Chevy", Rich. Or Phil "Woj"

Later Mike

Thank you guys for the Warm welcome. Looking through the technical and restoration section reminded me that I have forgotten so much. Like many things, it is a perishable skill.

My Chevelle isn't much to look at. It was a barn rescue I got from the owner of a body shop(in my line of work I consider that a clue) and I pretty much kept it in race carish condition. It's not real pretty, but I built the small block and it weighs 3080lbs according to the scales at NASA when I worked there w/o me in it. Actually it's ugly and I'm a little embarrased of it. Here it is doing what it does. I have not even started it since the summer of 2007. Pics on their way.

Here are some pics from Dragway 42 and Norwalk:

Yea, it's got a '68 fiberglass bumber. It was cheap, it's light, and looks sorta OK.

It launches well, for a foot braked car.
