Thanks

Peter,
look on the back are they made in USA or china?
also you should be able to look at the seat on the rim and see if its tapered.

Thanks Donnie.
Rims say "made in the USA". When did that stop and China start making them???

Pete did you get your answer? I just bought a set of older 14x7 Torq-thrusts also and I am also looking for the right lug nuts. There is no taper in the hole and it looks like these had a washer before. If these had a shank would anybody have an idea how long the shank should be?

Re: Tourque Thrust nuts

----All the shank does is center the wheel. If the shank is too long and sticks thru the back, obviously the wheel wont be tight. I dont think you will find too short a shank. Anything less than the thickness of the wheel thru the hole will probably work......Bill S

Re: Tourque Thrust nuts

The new China made wheels have the 60 degree conical seat lugs and the older ones I have use a 3/4" shank with the washers. My older wheels are from around 1992-93 when they where reintroduced. Hope this helps you guys out, Phil.
