350 Chevy 3970014 block
Hi ! I had some spare time today and went over my pile of blocks to see what I have. One of them is a "014 mystery block" that came out of a late 1973 Chevelle. Nothing special other than the casting# since it was only a 145 hp version. The pic is from Colvinīs book and it doesnīt list it as being used after early 1973. Mine is from late -73, and from a Chevelle that isnīt listed either. NCRS has confirmed that this block was cast and machined in Tonawanda and then sent to Flint for assembly. They were used in some later 1972 (March or after) Corvettes.
