Default 350 Chevy 3970014 block

Hi !

I had some spare time today and went over my pile of blocks to see what I have. One of them is a "014 mystery block" that came out of a late 1973 Chevelle. Nothing special other than the casting# since it was only a 145 hp version. The pic is from Colvin´s book and it doesn´t list it as being used after early 1973. Mine is from late -73, and from a Chevelle that isn´t listed either.
Do any of you have a 3970014 block, and if so for which application ?

NCRS has confirmed that this block was cast and machined in Tonawanda and then sent to Flint for assembly. They were used in some later 1972 (March or after) Corvettes.
