'02 ZL1 Phase III Owners!

What's up guys! I just wanted to get on here and ask anyone with a Phase III ZL1 some questions. Like, what was done to the tranny to make it hold the 427? What rear-end is used? What all is different about the chassis/suspension components than a regular Z? Thanks a lot and you guys are soo lucky to have bad azz cars like that!

I can answer I think, here it goes:
Nothing
Stock
ZO6 suspension, with nitrogen filled shocks and lowered springs

Easy questions deserve easy answers.

Didn't the ZL1 Super Camaros come with:

High performance Clutch/Pressure Plate
Hardened rear gears(ring and pinion)
Penske Shocks

I think the gears are GM gears, with stock Housing.
Clutch is out of a Z06.
7500 Series Penske double adjustable nitrogen filled shocks (with the choice of touring, road racing or drag racing compressions)

Is that the best you got!

Didn't all of the F-bodys start getting the good (ZO6) clutch in like '01 or '02? About the same time they got the better breathing block?

454, you're right about the clutch. We are putting a dual disk in mine and an after market rear end. My concern is the drive shaft. I don't think it will handle 650 crank HP.
