<<With all the talk of Rotella vs. other brand oils this question came up offline. I am running Mobil 1 in my Z. I was under the impression that once you run synthetic it is not recommended you go back to non-synth. Can I do this?

Yes, you can switch from the superior performing synthetic oil to the lower performing dead dinosaur lube with no, "problems", other than reduced fuel economy, reduced performance, higher engine operating temperatures, harder winter starts, increased engine wear and higher maintenance costs. But, why would you even *want* to do this?
