Rich,

As you might have guessed, the '7115 crank was the L-88 & ZL-1
crankshaft. However, the existence of that crank in a 4-bolt
block does not an L-88 make ( sorry Yoda ).

As was already offered-up, if the block was decked, you
will probably never know what it was unless possibly finding
a VIN stamped in the rough casting at the back of the block
near the rear of the oil filter. BTW, do the pistons use
floating or pressed wrist pins. L-88's used floating....
