Default Yenko Deuce

I just took delivery on a '70 Yenko Deuce, 4 speed, cortez silver, 9th car produced, and Yenko stock number YS-084. My car is the last Deuce pictured in Vintage Supercar Photo Section. I have the POP and the broadcast sheet as well as some maintenance records.

It was sold new at Wallace Chevrolet in Linden, New Jersey. The Deuce has 25k miles and has the original engine, trans. and rear. I spoke with the original owner the other day and he probably still has the hood tach somewhere in his garage. He had some cool stories about the car.

It only took two years to find the right Deuce (including price) and having the willpower to pass on cars that did not have everything I wanted. I am very excited about owning a Yenko Deuce. Thanks Marlin!!

Could you post some pics of what the car looks like today? It looks pretty beat to death in the Vintage Car Pics section.

Crongrats Mike, another one saved that I bet will see a lot of street time. Just don't let Marlin talk you into those whitewall tires.

My congrats too Mike. The Deuce has always been one of my favorites. I actually went looking for one, or an LT-1 Nova, in 1970 but didn't have any luck. Settled on the LS-6! If I could have found a Deuce, my first choice would have been Cortez Silver!!! I look forward to seeing it at a future sYc Reunion (even with white stripe tires!). Very cool car! Many congrats to MikeA for pulling the trigger on this one. This is a good solid project car, numbers matching, paperwork, low mileage, one owner, orig shifter and other goodies, good interior, etc...

It's certainly not 'beat to death' - just some sheetmetal damage and some dulled paint - aren't they all after 30+ years?

I'm still working on MikeA about the whitewalls, he's not too crazy about them - but I'll keep trying!

Marlin, is this Neil's old car? Surprised he let it go if it is. MikeA, send it to Bushey, he does great work at a fair price, and is a pleasure to deal with. Congrats on your purchase!
