The #4346 was originally used on ALL 1969 Solid liftered-(Special Hi-Perf engined)-Chevrolet vehicles.
I think beginning January 1st 1973,Holley began the 4 digit date code. The one in your pic is 004-which stands for the 4th day of the year..obviously thats January month,and the 9 is either 1979,89 or 99,as Holley re-released this carb. recently to meet the demand for the restoration industry. As stated,this is a later issued service carburetor to replace the assembly line issued carburetor with the same part number. |
