"And once ebay is satisfied you have received the item back they will strip the money from pay pal or your credit card on file"...............................Ebay takes the money out of a sellers account as soon as the case is opened. They dont wait until the item is returned like visa and others. If you then get the item back and its not the item you sent out or is damaged and uninsured , the seller eats it. Its easy to like paypal if you are a buyer.

Not exactly King, they don't TAKE the money until they have proof [tracking number] it has been returned...they 'FREEZE' the money in you Pay Pal account in the meantime...Same as taking it but not exactly.

And just a note, Pay Pal is owned by Ebay...they are one in the same...so it's really Ebay who decides what happens to your dough...
