63 Impala Super Sport. 327/300 with factory air. Paid $225, fixed a dented door, buffed it out, and sold it for $400 six months later to buy my first Camaro (a 68 RS). Dang, I wished I had some pictures!

 Thank goodness someone else had the bees to post up they had a VW. I was going to skip that dark (slow) phase and go directly to the 67 ElCamino  Sadly, no good pictures of either....   I think there is enough DNA on that old black and white to convict me.....of something I was doing.

72 Nova SS,red with 4spd.,bench seat and F41 suspension.Bought it from the original owner in 1976 and still own it.Original owner purchased it in Aug. of 72 from Nickey Chevrolet.

First Car, 1963 Impala ss. 409 340Hp with a 2speed auto. Paid $225 in October 76. Great car, lotsa fun. Would do block long burnouts. Broke the rearend doing a Smokey Burnout around a corner uphill. Later measured the Burnout,450 feet long, singletrak. Cost $25 bucks plus the gasket to replace the ring and pinion.

1970 Nova. 6cyl. with Torque-Drive 2-speed automatic. My parents paid $200 for it and THAT was too much. It didn't take long and I had a 327 with a Turbo 350 and a one wheel wonder. It was fast
 or so I thought.

I drove my Dad's junk in HS, learned to drive on a 60 VW, all 36 screamin HP
 Got married in Nov 68 and bought the 69 Charger ( 318 car  ) while still in the Navy.Photo below is in the alley at 628 Walnut St. Inglewood CA about 6mo. after I got out of the Navy. 1970, the car was triple green.  Mike

1963 Chevy II convertible. Paid 150.00 for it came with 6cyl 3 on the tree. Traded it for a 69 rs camaro my brother had. Still have 69
