Those are some awesome sets.I still have a few of mine.

Still got my Aurora Camaro just like this one, in a shoebox with the rest of my slot cars. I got the Aurora Golden Gate Bridge set for Xmas in 1969 and thought I had died and gone to heaven. My dad and I raced those cars for hours. Sold the track in 1985 but kept the cars.

Over Christmas I visited with a friend who collects them. He probably has 20 or more of those Camaros new in the box among other mint sets and accessories. Its literally like walking into a hobby store in the late 60's early 70's.

Me a my buddies used to race on an HO track like this when we were kids. Every Saturday morning at Miller's Feed & Hobby shop on Grand River in Detroit. Still have my cars and pit box. The track was made by Aurora for hobby shops, six lanes, lap counter. I believe they call them "tub tracks" today.

Theres a huge underground world here in Mpls St Paul with them. I went to a few of their meets and shows. I guess its even 10 times larger around Chicago and they meet up in hotels and block off 10-20 rooms and go from room to room to room selling them. Thats their version of a good swap meet.

<font color="blue">Here is my 1/24th drag car.
The track was close, so I bought a car, a body, an extra motor, etc. &amp; then the track closed.

I haven't used it in about 10 yrs. It went 9.90 @ scale.
My controler was a heavy duty starter button.
