They are good and I use them...but...I think it bears noting they are not original glass. That is to say the tinting band across the top of the windshield may or may not be an accurate replica of the original. Ask him when you call and tell him what you expect.

Regards,

Mark

Does anyone have experience with the clear glass from from OEM? Smoothness, clarity? My car came from factory with clear glass, thought I would upgrade to tint. As you can read in my other post thats what I get for changing. I'm going back to clear. No option car.

Carl, the problem getting clear glass from what my research has concluded, is that there isn't enough demand for it. My car is a no frills Chevelle SS and would like to replace it with the same as well. My inquiry on this post is do to a lack of aftermarket glass for those wanting to keep their cars correct with clear glass and looking for the best supplier of tinted. I think we are in the same boat, but whatever I buy will come from OEM.

OK, I took my time and ended up looking at a clear glass donor car in Wisconsin along with checking out several pieces offered to me, but unfortunately non were better than what I already have. I called OEM last week and ordered a dated set of green tinted glass which should look great and was assured they would stand behind their product against quench marks. Should have the glass in 4-5 weeks.
