Default JV radio restorations Joe Vijil

Did anyone ever send a radio or speaker for restoration to JV RESTORATIONS? Joe Vijil is the person who does the restorations and is in California. How was the turnaround time? Did he ever get the job done? Thanks John

I purchased a restored radio from him. Nice work, reasonable price. I would buy from him again. I don't know about turn around times as I didn't send him anything. However, I would think if you want your own radio and parts back it could take a long time. Parts of the radio have to be replated and this takes time if you want to keep costs down.

Joe has restored afew 1969 AM radios for me - I am very happy with his work. I have also bought outright from him. The cores I sent him to rebuild I asked if he could find nicer cases which he did, and that took some time. If you are buying outright there are two style that are correct for 69 and you may want to specify what you want.
