Here is a fiberglass hood that I'm trying to find who manufactured this one with all the contours in the bottom of the hood. Anyone got any ideas. I don't think it was used on any motion, nickey, yenko, etc. Thanks for the help.

It looks very similar to the underside of the VFN "show quality" hood pictured here -- http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm

My buddy is doing a 67 Yenko clone/ tribute car and bought a vfn hood. I just looked at it and it doesn't have all the ribs in it like mine. Could this be a A&A hood?

VFN offers three different Stinger hoods. Pin on, hinged, and hinged with "show finish" (the ribbed, reinforced underside).

The one my buddy has is the 800.00 hood which looks the same without 2 of the upper ribs. I got a pm with this attachment "Re: Another B/M Camaro" and this hood has the 2 front ribs. Who did Motion by their hoods from?

All of Motions fiberglass was done by a buddy of mine Lindsey Pirie. Lindsey is one of the top fiberglass guy's in the world and some of you may be familiar with him in the boating race world as he also did a lot of work on Off Shore Ocean Racers and even built his own off shore racing boat the "Indigo" and made his own line of Jersey Speed Skiffs.
I talked to him a few weeks ago to see if he still had the molds as I asked him a while ago if he did the work which he did. He checked the place in PA where he did the work and as of now cannot locate them but is still looking as this was a long time ago. If he can find them, he has molds for all the hoods, all the vette molds, and anything else fiberglass that Joel did. I will let you all know if he locates them. he said he would make any parts anyone would need so keep your fingers crossed if you are a Baldwin Motion guy doing a real restoration. Sam

I just posted how the guy in Pa, Larry sold the biz to http://www.fiberpartsconcepts.com/. I don't think they have the old molds.
