Typical "ebay with attitude" ad....especially the comment about the build sheet. Anyway, if this is a factory column shift BB car....than it has to be an L34/TH400...one of 48. I can't make out the dash cluster in the photo...but, seeing the shift pattern lettering would help a lot. The firewood shim and yellow gut are definately a nice addition

$500 tops for that car.It might as well be one of those "restorable firewalls" that get listed from time to time.Almost every body panel looks to need replacing,There is almost no correct original interior parts, the floors will need extensive work since they dont make one piece pans for this car so figure a lit of butt welding, grinding and dolly work to have perfect floors{only way to do a 1 of 48 car} the numbers engine is gone, and the car has no documentation. You could spend 30 grand to do a "driver quality resto and end up with a 20 grand car,or 50 grand or more to do the job right and maybe have a car that is worth 40K.Kind of makes the car a total loss to me

Come on, $500 tops? I understand it is rusty and missing many parts but is has a 12 bolt under it. I just sold 2 big block heater boxes for around $500 each. It may be a car that is worth the sum of its parts, but even those are worth more than $500.

I agree with you totally.

There were several different bidders of the 19 bids and even if the high bid was a schill "pushing" the other bidders, the next low bid was $3000. so obviously at least one other person thought it was worth $3000.

What about the hood, emblems, seat cores, etc., etc?

There are just too many things wrong with this car. Wrong side marker lights on the rear quarter. It has the Nova tag on the rear quarter AND the front fender. No power brakes.

IMO it is a fake from the get go.

It does have some desireable parts but it's not worth $3k!

I see a nice cut and paste from Scott Windle's novaresource.org.

As Brent396 listed the VIN to Body tag is off. The VIN may be prior to the introduction of the 396 in 1968. I do not think this body tag started life with this VIN. Should be a Feb car by the VIN.

The seat covers look sort of familiar.
