Okay guys....here is one to check out. This auction is coming up with a 1969 SS/RS Camaro ( Look closely at the engine photos )...This may be a Big Block Camaro!
.....also include in the aution is a 409 Impala SS.
Both of these cars would be nice to have.

These are not mine....I just stumbled across the link to the auction and started looking a little closer.

...Oh and I did get the cowl tag info on the camaro...
Here it is....

My guess is that its either I010 or I108 which is the body sequence number they used at Van Nuys. Thats a real early 69 built at Van Nuys. Probably one of the first 400 or so.

Engine photo shows a small block with a B&M blower.

BB AC goes away from the eng, it's a tight enough fit with that, Small Block AC is turned toward the eng bay. That's a Big Block A/C box as others have stated here.

Better tell GM that they made a mistake on UPC C60, sheet D2! Oh, if small blocks turn toward the engine - then they made another mistake on C60 sheet D1.

Not true...that's a s/b evaporator box. While it seems logical that the POA valve would be on the outside of the box for the larger b/b motor, the General did not do it that way. I have never heard a plausible reason for this.
