I have seen 6500 red line tachs in the very late 69 Z28's..... its also in jerry macneish' book as well as a very late production item.

My 69Z is a 10D car with the 6500 tach

Jerrys book doesn't mention any 7000 tach with a 6500 redline, those he mentions with 6500 redlines are 8000 tachs and were introduced in late Oct-69 i.e. very uncommon!

Do you have a picture of your tach? Partnumber? (should be on the back)
