Looks like Mike Green has had his hands on a few of these.

Steve, Jan's numbers are dead on, as evidenced by the list below, which I have seen a few times. He is referring to only 3 4sp of the 17 built and one is un accounted for.
I thought that car would do a little more.......... and as an owner of both a 69 and a 70, I think the 70 is the best looking and most popular and I was also surprised at how much more the triple black car went for...That being said, I really want a 71 judge. When Dave C sold his (X Dr. Green) white (on of the 17) I wished I had the budget for it and that it was a 4sp..

My $.02

Jan, a lot more than three were made. I believe 13 of the 17 1971 Judge ragtops produced are still in existance. I think the 69 Judge has a far wider fan base than the love it or hate look of the 71s. Plus that particular 69 was an amazing car with a four speed, which commands a bigger price, especially in the RAIV and SD Pontiac world.

This is from a posting on the Performance Years website:

Only three with 4-speed out of the 17, was what I meant.

The 1962 Impala Lightweight was the steal of the century! Prototype Z11 powered with aluminum front end components!

There are some rumors that #3 car on the list might be here in Scandinavia, maybe in Norway. There are some folks looking for it but no hard evidence yet. Only time will tell...

I am impressed with some of the selling prices on these cars, all with known history and documentation in lots of cases. Shows how discriminating Milt is. A fe cars were bought on taste (The 72 W30).
This was one auction that if you were a serious buyer, you wern't going to loose sleep over whether the firewall had been welded in later.

A predictor of things to come if/when Floyd Garrett does a similar sale.
Unlike the Scottsdale Circus where you dont know who is selling the car/what the car started out as/who is buying the car.

If my math is correct the gross proceeds of Milts Auction was $8,300,000.00

Floyd Garrett only owns about 10 or 12 or the cars in his museum.

What do you guys think about the Stage getting the short end of the stick here ? Colors held it back a bit ? I'm told it was a #'s matching car. Only 10 of the 67 produced in the registry as well.
