I think is has more to do with how well L88s have been doing at recent auctions.

I agree with Stefano on this. A black 69 coupe brought about 600k with fees so owners that were on the fence are probably thinking that now is a good time to sell. However with three cars at the same auction, it will be interesting to see if those results can be repeated.
