RE W.R. Austin Chevrolet records.Sorry,no records from that interesting era.In fact when I closed out the dealership,I had all records put on two large tapes with what was then a very advanced computer. Not long after there was not a computer that could access the information. A Don Yenko story.Don't recall what year it was,but many years back.Don was thrilled to be asked to be on a Corvette team at Sebring. After agreeing to be on the Corvette team,he was then asked to be on the Ferrari team. With some red face he begged off the Corvette team and signed on with Ferrari. Two weeks before the race he had a fall from his motorcycle and broke a leg.Story as he told it.The Novas created by Yenko were registered as very every day cars and the insurance rate was the "Little Old Lady' cost variety.

I have been working late nights trying to complete my next book.....The Yenko Era....Continued. Canonsburg and Beyond. I have discovered in my documents Donna Mae's original drawing of the red, white & blue Yenko badge wirh letters to suppliers for price quotes. Also history of " Yenko Tuned " decals. Lots of stuff like that in the book.
